The following is a brief description of the kinds of climates (weather) you might find when going on an Inca Trail adventure. The climate along this part of the classic 4-day Trail varies in all its points. During the day it can be quite warm and sunny; dry during the first two days, and a little humid on the third and fourth days. In the night, the first two Inca Trail campsites are often very cold, while the third night is more temperate. The rainy period, in this region, begins at the end of November and lasts until March. Rains at the Inca Trail can be quite heavy at times.
Although rains can make your hiking adventure a little more difficult, the landscapes along the trail benefit from the rain and are and look green and lush for you to enjoy the most while on your adventure.
See the following chart to have a better idea of the weather conditions along the Inca Trail Trek in 2013 and 2014.
